Cassie couldn’t help but laugh at his random outburst; when didn’t she laugh? It was always around Niall and just everything he said she seemed to find hilarious. She crossed her legs, reaching down to fix her heels.

“I’m brilliant, minus the fact that I had to cut the claws.” She held up her hand for proof, her usually long nails cut down to the tip. “How’ve you been? How’s the single going?”

He shook his head, smiling big when she was laughing at him. Her laugh was cute. It was one of the things he liked calling her his best-friend. Niall watched her as she fumbled around, fixing her heels. He leaned back in the seat. His eyes forward now. It was cute that Cassie wore heels just to go out for food. Niall turned back to Cassie as she spoke once again.

“Shouldn’t that be a good thing?” He asked with a raised eyebrow. Her nails were always long. They had always hurt him when they were goofing around. He kept his eyes on her as he made a funny face at the situation.

Niall smiled afterwards before laughing at the face he had probably came up with. He shrugged his shoulders absently, not really knowing what to say. “Eh, better than being with a girl right?” He said, nudging her before laughing once again. Oh, how Niall always laughed at the smallest things. “I’m good, just kind of bugging out because of Brett but it’s no big deal. I’m sure, she’ll stop putting me down soon.” He said. Niall bit his bottom lip gently before putting a smile on his face for Cassie.
